Field Council Circular No. 01/09 of March 13, 2009
TO ALL PASTORS, OFFICERS AND SAINTS,
Beloved
Grace and peace from God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. We take this opportunity to thank all of you for making us to be where we are now. We survived the storms of 2008 because you stood actively as valued members of the church.
The world we know today is sometimes a frightening place, with its storms of poverty, crime, sickness and suffering. The disciples fear the wind and the waves as they knew that these natural forces were out of their control. They did not understand that Jesus was the Lord of all things, including storms. Jesus is Lord over things that frighten us and our fears are quieted when we recognize that He is the one in control (Matthew 8:23-27).
The Apostolic Church Cameroon Field Council met during its March Council Session in Kumba. After prayers and deliberations in the presence of the Lord, the following decisions were unanimously taken.
